I was born and raised in Tuscany, Italy.
I have been dancing and writing for most of my life. I am graduate in Visual Art in Carrara and during that time I was given a camera and I found new purpose in photography, venturing the self-portrait at first given the feminine nature of my vision.
I turned my newly found passion into a job. I am not a formally trained photographer and I don’t believe too much in technique, even though I have attended some fashion and portrait photography courses. I like to explore different styles and forms of photography.
Travel became a fundamental aspect of my practice, blurring the lines between documentary and personal research.
Part of my photography focuses on projects regarding people. My research is driven by the need for exploring topics such as relationships and cultural issues. I am also interested in true and tangible character-driven stories, often told by combining photography and text.
