The project:
Teaches the art of photography to marginalized children in communities around the world, using photography to capture the imaginations of children, to empower them, building confidence, self-esteem and hope. With the the purpose to share their vision and voices with the world

The school:
The BHCH was founded in 2000.
The school is located in the district of Kathmandu, near Matatirtha, an idyllic village with the meaningful name “Mother Earth”. For about 230 boys and girls 5 to 18 years and about 80 day students from the surrounding area.
Many of the children are full or half orphans or have lived on the street. This school is a safe home, a place of hope and future where they can get the chance to lead an independent life. In one of the poorest countries in the world with an illiteracy rate of nearly 50 percent this may include a solid education.

All the pics below were made and retouched by the kids of the project:
Zamak, Suni, Suchitra, Shivam, Rishikesh, Pramila, Pasang, Lamdiki, Krishna, Gyurme, Dawa, Budesh.
